Database Authors
Summary LeishCyc is the Pathway/Genome Database (PGDB) for Leishmania major based on the BioCyc ontology. The initial build was based on the genomic data of Leishmania major strain Friedlin v5.2 obtained from the Leishmania major Friedlin project by the Sanger Institute. More information about the LeishCyc project can be found in [Doyle09].

The PGDB, which integrates the biochemical reaction network and metabolic pathways of the organism with its genome, was improved by limited manual curation.
